Orkney History

Welcome

The Orkney History Company was founded by archaeologists and actors with a passion for Orkney and Scotland's history. In our first year we gained recognition worldwide for the humour and entertainment of our tours. We believe history shouldn't be boring, and this is what drives us!

That's us closed down for the season.  It's been an exciting experimental summer for us and we'd like to thank the following:

• The Pickaquoy Centre
• The Orkney Hotel
• The crew of the Sea Stallion (for teaching us how viking sailors drink)

We'll be back in June with a new site and new activities and even more authentic 10th century Orkney banter!
